What should I expect when I visit for the first time?
We know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. Graham is known for its casual, “family-friendly” atmosphere, creative programming, practical Bible teaching, and dynamic programs for our children, students, and adults. When you visit, you’ll be able to “check us out”. No one will ask you to stand or identify yourself as a visitor. We desire that you come and meet God and enjoy the Graham experience. Here’s a quick look at a few of the things you can expect at Graham:
When You Arrive
When you arrive you’ll find parking conveniently located next to the building. Greeters are stationed inside the doors to welcome and help you with any questions. They will also help direct you to the main Auditorium , Nursery, or Children’s classes. There are also brochures in the Welcome Center and the Resource Center that will help you get to know us better.
For the Kids
Your kids are invited to our Children’s Ministries, Graham Kids. All ages are cared for and led by our friendly team of trained Sunday School teachers. Classes begin 15 minutes before the start of each service so you’ll have time to get your children to their class. Here is our schedule:
- Sundays at 9:30 AM: Children’s Ministry for Infants–Kindergarten
- Sundays at 11:00 AM: Children’s Ministry for Infants-12th grade
About the Services
Worship services begin with a greeting and announcements. It is then followed with music (Worship), congregational prayer, and the sermon. We’ll give you a bulletin and outline when you arrive to help you follow along. The service typically ends after the sermon with a song. Communion is celebrated regularly, usually the first weekend of the month.
Singing
Music at Graham is based on Biblical concepts. The biblical purpose of music in worship is to unite the body of Christ in praise and thanksgiving to God. A variety of instruments and vocalists comprise our music team. The words for the songs are projected on a screen in the front of the church so you can sing along. Click here for more information about our Music Ministry.
What to Wear
What you wear is of little concern to us. Dress how you’re most comfortable. Our focus is on providing a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that enables us to worship God and talk about life’s real issues.
After the Service
After the service we hope you’ll stay to introduce yourself or fill out a Graham Guest Card in the Welcome Center to help us connect with you.
